McGeoch used a Yamaha SG1000 for most of his time with Magazine, Banshees and early Armoury Show. His amp was a 50W Marshall master volume valve combo and effects were an MXR Flanger and an MXR Compressor. He also used a Yamaha 1010 analogue delay with the Banshees (you can hear it for the rising and falling effect on Voodoo Dolly). He changed all his gear around the time of the Armoury Show album and for me- though still a great guitarist, he lost his 'signature' sound, which was a pity. Found one some years ago with the Shot by both sides cover picture on it, can't remember where though. I recently discovered a site where they have shirts with the album covers on. The address is www.mysecretgarden-store.com. By the way, anyone who knows if there will be a new release of the Luxuria-cd's? Unfortunately I lost mine years ago.
