Musings
Howard doing standup would be pretty funny Flux - but I'm not sure that anyone besides us Magazine folk would really like it. I love the Devoto album, but my favourite kind of music is definitely post punk/synth pop stuff, and anything heavy on electronics gets me going. I'm so pleased to have the album on CD at last. But I agree with you about the legacy of the Magazine albums. Duncan on 18:05 15th-Jul-07 GMT #2e3-45861 Flux, don't get me wrong, I don't think that the HD album is in the same league as any of the Magazine album. But, at the time I was really disappointed by the HD album, because of all the things you say (thin production, too much synths), so because my expectations were low I was pleasantly surprised hearing it again for the first time in about 20 years. (Especially by Topless and Way out of shape). I remember reading that it was Adam Buxton's (from Channel 4's Adam and Joe) favourite album of all time. How do we get the Luxuria albums reissued?
