I just got the Virgin 2007 remasters (Virgin EU discs, not the Caroline discs released in the U.S.) and have been less than happy. They are definite improvements over the original Virgin CDs. But when comparing tracks from the 2007 remasters with those on the 'Maybe It's Right To Be Nervous Now' box set from 2000, I'm blown away by the quality of the box set tracks. Anyone else feel the same? The 2000 tracks are crisp, full of life. The 2007 tracks seem muffled, noticably dead in comparison, at least to my ears...
