got my tickets for the girls Fareham gig 26 Aug, can't wait. over the border on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #0b3-38807 can i come? I know you've got two tickets and nobody else will go with you.. flux on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #05e-38809 just got a bunch of Magazine live CD's off ebay (sorry Zenbob) - interesting to note that the music Magazine came on to for their NY 8/8/80 gig was John Barry's 'the girl with the sun in her hair' (this music was for a sunsilk hair advert - which i'm guessing none of our boys had to use much) Duncan on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #f37-38810 Am I the only one who still gets a small thrill seeing Magazine's name in print? They get a few mentions in this months Mojo - Radiohead article (they chose John Leckie to produce them because of Real Life, trying to simulate Magazine's sound for their first album and trying to play guitar like John McGeoch), the lyrics to Permafrost also get mentioned in the Thom Yorke solo album review. I also noticed that Barry Adamson had a new album review, apparently his CV includes work for Boots and Cadburys (which ads were they?) - anyone know any more? flux on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #05e-38811 i remember a Bailey's ad where they used 'something wicked' from oedipus schmoedipus - i think it also got used on another ad as well open mind on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #0b3-38816 i wrote 'speed of sound'. over the border on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #0b3-38817 and 'clocks'. its the same song, but yes, stolen off you o m . flux on 20:06 4th-Jul-06 GMT #a32-38819 open mind... i know you have claimed ownership of those songs in the past and i am ready to believe you, were it not for the fact that they are mediocre twaddle - you write better songs... keep it hup hup (as Francis Albert used to say)
