I've read that Magazine was in Blur / Damons head when they recorded 'Trouble in the message centre' on the Parklife album, as well. olddave @ on 18:38 9th-Apr-06 GMT #80c-37523 Are there any people here over 40, hope so, hope we've shared magazine live a couple of times etc johnny on 18:38 9th-Apr-06 GMT #4a7-37525 I've just got hold of an Armoury Show dvd at Rockpalast in Germany and what a band they were live. John Mcgeoch was definately the best guitarist of his era, and its greeat to watch him playing live. His playing on Higher Than the World is awseome, and pisses on John Barry! Zen on 18:38 9th-Apr-06 GMT #cd0-37528 John Barry, guitarist ? Duncan on 18:37 9th-Apr-06 GMT #2e3-37536 I've noticed that Magazine tracks appear on 2 new compilations. The first is a best of Martin Hannett CD called Zero, and the 2nd is compiled by John Taylor and Nick Rhodes of Duran Duran (!), who've included Shot by both Sides as one of their faves. Shame the Magazine influence never rubbed off on their music!
