Q magazine has produced a one-off special magazine called 'Morrissey and the story of Manchester Music'. It has the usual stuff that I'm sure we've all read before, but it is nicely put together with a feature on Howard and Pete forming the Buzzcocks and one on Martin Hannett. Also a live pic of Howard playing the guitar that I've never seen before. Worth a look. It also confirms the Devoto name origin story - The Cambridge bus driver.
