Duncan on 13:16 30th-Jul-04 GMT #f37-30226 More Magazine references from BBC Radio 2 Presenter Jeremy Vine. In this months (Sept 2004) Q magazine on Page 72, Jeremy recommends his 20 favourite songs (he also includes New Order, Joy Division, The Smiths and The Fall), which includes Philadelphia by Magazine. He says 'I love Magazine. 'Your clean living, clear eyed, clever, level headed brother, says he'll put the screws on your newest lover' Somehow Howard Devoto makes that line scan.' S-G on 13:16 30th-Jul-04 GMT #e7a-30229 One of my favourite lines is- 'I used to find myself at the bitter end of remarkable occurences' (Waiting for a Train from Jerky Versions of the dream) Also 'You turn pandemonium into pantomime for one' (Twenty Years Ago). These remind me of the people I know who make a drama out of EVERYTHING they do.Sorry..no offence to anyone.
