Ok, I know this is pretty specific but here goes: Does anyone have any information on Magazine gigs in Germany during September/October 78. This was the continuing tour with Patti Smith. I'm trying to pin down when and where Magazine bumped into Ultravox during this tour. I know Howard was inspired to write 'Feed The Enemy' after the band visited the Berlin wall and that Ultravox' movements after 14th October are mysterious (I think they must have been in Germany then as they played Stuttgart on 30/10). I also know that McGeoch apporached John Doyle in early October 78 at a gig the drummer's band did at Manchester Poly -why do I want to know ? Well, if I can find out, I'll be posting some detailed chronicles of this period of interest to all 'ziners as a taster of my forthcoming book is why... Thanks all
