A bit more detail on teh Bridgewater Hall show: Lyricist and singer Howard Devoto - described as `The Orson Welles of Punk`, `The Most Important Man Alive` (NME) and `Strangely Ace` (Time Out) - performs spoken word and recent songs with electronica-based music. His Buzzcocks co-founder Pete Shelley creates an extraordinary musical tension told with witty sophistication in his acoustic songs. John Cooper Clarke, the so-called `Salford Punk-Poet`, pins back & pierces the thickest of ears with his volatile cocktail of rock and high energy poetry. Mark E Smith very rarely performs solo so the Bridgewater Hall date will be a unique event. As a solo spoken word performer he has received critical acclaim from the NME to The Times who describe his work as `outstanding`. It certainly suggests that Howard may well be performing some BuzzKunst stuff. Gets better all the time!

Anyone else thinking of getting stuff signed at Bridgewater Hall? I don't want to be the only loser hanging around afterwards. Neike, I'll write some bits for your Luxuria thing. Is there a Luxuria T shirt in it for me? ;)

I'm counting the days to this gig. It's 21 years since I last saw H.D live.

Maus: Very cool, thanks for that. Sorry, no Luxuria T-Shirt, I'm afraid, but if you want to make someone rich, you can go to GAPD.com and get Luxuria prints there - and then try to get them on a T-Shirt via some obscure way... :))
