I love MAGAZINE more than any other band

Hypothetical Question: How would you feel if Magazine announced that they were reforming for an album and a tour? Part of me would be absolutely elated, but another would be concerned that a currently untouchable band (in my opinion) would sully the quality of their output. Could they recapture the spirit and intensity of their classic stuff, whilst producing something fresh and new? I dunno its perhaps best to retain the memories of whats gone on before, but that said I'd be near the front of the queue if it happened! ;o)

tough question.. I'd be elated but concerned. Few bands seem to have been so badly mauled and praised to the rafters as Magazine, I doubt they would feel as enthusiastic about it as we are. I'd just be pleased to see them pop up on each other's new projects. I would love for instance, to hear HD sing on one of Barry Adamson's recordings. All the same, there does seem to be an entirley new Magazine audience growing out there that would probably buy more of any new recording than were sold of the first 4 ironically.
